&diams Finally saw the Season 3 Finale of House. The first half of the season I downloaded them but I just couldn't keep up and my computer wasn't coping so I got lazy and watched them instead. But YAY now I can get into House fandom again! (Looks like I'm going to bloody have to, with the blow that I'm sure DH will deal). Are there any House-ers on my f'list, still? I need RECS! NOW! Wilson and I have more than made up and I'm totally ready for some lovin'...

&hearts The snarry_games have finished posting and I've been terrible about my reading. I haven't read anything for aaaages and I feel awful. I have bookmarked the master list and if you haven't done so already, do! There are so many fantastic stories there it's completely effing mind-boggling. Gaah. And I apologise if I haven't responded to your comment yet - I will! I'm getting there. :)

&hearts I had to go to the dentist again today and now have a grand total of 15 fillings. What's more is I'm booked in for two more in two weeks' time. Aaah. I hate my teeth life.

&hearts I have completed my Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds collection. All the CDs and DVDs. And I mean all. I'm pleased, because it feeds my obsession and weird magpie/Tom Riddle like nature, but sad because I've come to the end of something loverly. But, you know, if you ever want a song of his ... I'm your girl. :D

&hearts I have fallen madly in love obsession with Jeremy Irons. He makes Lolita seem like a fluffy romance. Mmmph.

&hearts POTC3 was - fine. I went along to the first midnight session, drank mountain up and ate popcorn and watched Geoffrey and Johnny with adoration. Orlando and Keira drove me completely fucking barmy - I couldn't stand either of them in the slightest - but the rest of it I liked. Stumbled out at three in the morning in quite a pleasant mood.

Ok, so I realise that I'm not a "proper" reccer because I don't do systematic recs or rec lists or even rec all of the fics that I like and ergo my recs mean nothing, but sometimes a fic just strikes such a chord inside me I am compelled to rec it. This is one such story. It was recently recced on crack_broom but it has ten pages of comments less than it should do, so I'm reccing it again.

Thanks ever so much to the lovely anonymouse who gave me the beautiful red rose that now adorns my profile page! I hadn't been on the internet for quite a while and it totally made my day to see "You have received a virtual gift!" in my inbox. I don't think I've ever had anyone in LJ-land do anything so nice for me and I am beside myself with childish joy and happiness.

Pick something you'd like in return -- a drabble? A fic? A novella, even? Art? Music uploads? A letter written out in longhand on pretty paper about everything and nothing? A lamo emo "ILY" photo? Okay, so bewarethesmirk asked me if I was working on any HP fanfic and I delved into my gigantic, seething folder titled "My HP Fanfic" to better answer her question and I stumbled upon this! It's the ficlet I wrote for remus_reads a few months ago and I had completely forgotten about it. Whoopsie.

Which also means I totally forgot to pimp the fantastic ficlet snapesgirl_62 wrote for ME! *headdesk* It's HERE! She took one of my biggest kinks (TEA DRINKING) and turned it into such a lovely story. She is &hearts and I am such a bum for forgetting to pimp it.

My snarry_games fic has been posted. This is the part where I hide my tail between my legs and run away from fandom in a cloud of rising dust. I mean, to be posted right after all the bloody fabulous entries we've had so far? I think it's the biggest slice of humble pie I've ever had in my life.



Maybe when this has all finished, I'll be ready to talk about how completely mental this thing drove me. And I'm not talking a little crazy, I'm talking completely fucking barmy.
